I’m excited to be returning to Prana Del Mar this autumn with Rob Hess for what will be another magical week where the desert meets the ocean. There is something intense about the Baja environment; it’s such a raw landscape that you cannot help but come face to face with your humanity. The power of the environment induces a spiritual contemplation on its own. The combination of the expansive desert, the mountains in the distance, and the vast Pacific ocean is unmatched for its rugged beauty and sense of space. Photos can barely capture a smidge of the power of this terrain. It truly needs to be seen and felt in person, on your yoga mat while in tree pose and while wandering on the beach for a sunrise stroll. Add yoga, surfing, hiking, transcendent cuisine with beautiful souls and it becomes a week of majesty that you can only feel gratitude for the opportunity to share in the experience.

Baby Monster continues to deliver that familiar liberating vibration with the song “City of Lovers,” which has also worn some grooves on playlists this summer. Their full-length album, t, flushes out their expansive synth wave pop stacked with great tracks. Now that I live near L.A., I’m sure I’ll be seeing them live soon.
